Ho'opononpono is an ancient Hawaiian healing practice of love, forgiveness, repentance and gratitude. Ho'oponopono roughly translates to 'make things right' or to 'make things move back to balance’. The practice teaches the importance of love and forgiveness through a process that allows the participant to rid themselves of burdens in order to heal.
It consists of four simple, yet powerful phrases: "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank-you. I love you." These healing phrases are repeated and soon become a lifestyle.
Put your headphones on and listen to this 21-minute sound bath audio before bed or a nap. Enjoy the sacred sounds of singing bowls and the trickle of a stream as you listen the healing mantra, "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank-you. I love you." You'll be amazed at the results!
The Ho’oponopono is based on the theory that we are all truly one energy. That is why this is one of the highest forms of self-love. You are reclaiming your energy through love and forgiveness.
In Hawaii, Dr. Len, cured an entire ward of criminally and mentally insane patients with this simple mantra. Dr. Len healed these patients without ever physically seeing them. He did it by sitting with himself, looking inward and repeating the Ho’oponopono with true heartfelt love.
Dr. Len said, “I just kept saying, ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I love you’ over and over again. Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, you improve your world.” He added, “After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely. Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed.”
